Family visited
by John and Tony Toppa in 1970s
I got some pictures from my Father's cousin, Sabina Tucci that
were given to her by Tony Toppa, she was kind enough to let me make copies. I also had a copy of my Uncle Tony's birth certificate given to me
by his daughter Anna. With a limited understanding of the language, I would not have found anyone without these..

Meeting people finding family
With my album in hand, my son, Chris and I started walking. We
found the Munincipo and
met Maria who worked there.

Other sites we visited
After we left Domenico's house, Pasquale took us back where we started
and we went for a
walk. We only had a short time left before our driver came back
to pick us up and bring us back
to our hotel in Pescara. Check "La Noce" ristorante, here!

Nearby Chieti
Lettomanoppello was a province of Chieti, according to my uncle's
birth
certificate.
Note: Chieti is pronounce as "keyet". (That is probably why the
name Toppi became Toppa, as the i has a quiet a
sound??)
