My grandparents, Giustino Toppi and Falconilla Dimatteo
were married  in Lettomanoppello and had one child there, 
Antonio, born in 1904. They later came to the U. S. to New 
Jersey where my uncle John was born.  They soon moved to 
Newport, RI  which became their lifelong home.  They raised 
eight children, Tony, John, Steve, Frank, Mary, Annie, Rose 
and Rachel, the youngest male being my  father, Frank.
